On Tuesday night dozens of East Boston Local 26 members spoke about their vision for their neighborhood and asked the proposed “Loftel” developer to share that vision.

In coalition with the MIRA Coalition and church and community groups, Local 26 is offering free citizenship application workshops for eligible green-card holders. Members who qualify and do not already receive legal assistance through our the Legal Fund should attend. Read more
Harvard dining hall workers held a “button up” this week, wearing buttons that read “Ready for Respect.” The button up was in part to stand with workers who are asking Harvard University Dining Services to provide more opportunities to work. Harvard students joined the workers in solidarity. Read more
