Harvard Class of ’95 is Donating to Support Dining Hall Workers

As universities move online, the COVID–19 pandemic is hitting Boston’s dining hall workers hard. MIT, Harvard, and Tufts University have agreed to extend medical benefits and pay for dining hall workers through commencement. But the summer is uncertain for university dining hall workers. You can help by making a donation today.

Funds are used to help hospitality workers:

  • maintain family health insurance coverage during layoffs or reduced hours
  • pay for food, rent, and utilities
  • replace wages lost due to reduced hours and tips
  • retrain for new jobs during the business downturn
