Harvard bargaining update – Rally Sept 30

Today Harvard University dining services bargaining committee members met with university administration with the aid of a federal mediator in hopes of coming to a resolution. We have asked for two simple things from this great university: to maintain our health care as is, and to be able to earn at least $35,000 a year for those of us who wish to work year round. Harvard administration continues to refuse. Instead, administrators insist on taking resources away from our children and from our neighborhoods. We will be back at the bargaining table on Friday in hopes of coming to an agreement. We are calling for a rally in Harvard Yard at Mass Hall on Friday at 3pm.
